About Me:
Education: I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2004 with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Centre College.
Experience: I have worked as an outpatient therapist since 2003 in settings that include community mental health center, sexual assault center, and adolescent substance abuse treatment. Prior to 2003 I worked in a behavioral health hospital as an assessment counselor. My areas of expertise are trauma, relationship issues, and co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate (CCDP-D).
